Regulatory context
Structural pest control in California is regulated by the Structural Pest Control Board. Wood destroying organism inspection reports separate findings into Section 1 items, which involve active infestation, infection, or damage, and Section 2 items, which describe conditions likely to lead to infestation or infection.
